A globally known modeling agency will no longer have an office in South Beach.
New York-based Wilhelmina Models (Nasdaq: WHLM) relocated its Miami branch office to the Wynwood House in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District at 331 N.W. 26th St.
At 1,923 square feet, the Wynwood office is smaller than the 4,000-square-foot space Wilhelmina occupied at the Mondrian Hotel at 1100 West Ave.
“Management changed at the Mondrian and they decided to triple their rent,” said Juliette Gruener, a commercial real estate advisor at Apex Capital Realty, who represented Wilhelmina in the lease negotiations.
